Pablo Saldana

Pablo Saldana, PhD, LCSW, CRC has been a member of the pediatric cystic fibrosis team at Nemours Children’s Specialty Care at Jacksonville, FL since 2005.  Pablo earned his bachelor’s degree in social science at William Paterson University, holds master’s degrees in Counseling from William Paterson University, in Social Work from Rutgers University, and in Rehabilitation Counseling from the University of North Florida and he holds a PhD in Rehabilitation Science from the University of Florida.  His research interests are in the areas of career development and employment concerns of individuals with chronic illnesses and disabilities and he has authored articles on these topics in peer-reviewed journals.  He has 13 years of experience working with chronically ill populations in various medical specialties including sickle cell disease, oncology, and cystic fibrosis.  As an integral part of the CF care team at Nemours, Pablo provides social work and counseling services to a caseload of over 100 children and families.  Pablo has authored abstracts for the North American Cystic Fibrosis Conference (NACFC) on the topics of career development, employment, and vocational rehabilitation and has presented at NACFC several times.
